“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Psalm 119:105
Every book of the Bible reveals something about the heart of God, and every season in His Word reveals something about my own.
Growing Through the Word is my personal journal through Scripture. As I read one book of the Bible at a time, I record what God is teaching me, where He is convicting me, the wisdom He is revealing, and the ways His Word continues to transform my life.
As I read through each book of the Bible, I prayerfully ask the Holy Spirit to reveal:
✿ What God is teaching me
✿ What God is revealing about Himself
✿ What God is revealing about my own heart
✿ Areas where I need conviction, growth, or repentance
✿ Promises I should hold onto
✿ Wisdom I should apply to my daily life
✿ Truths I need to remember
✿ Practical ways to live out His Word
✿ Prayers inspired by my time in Scripture
No two journeys with God look exactly the same. We may read the same passage, yet the Holy Spirit often speaks to each of us in deeply personal ways according to the season we are in. My prayer is that these reflections encourage you to slow down, open your Bible, seek the Lord with your whole heart, and allow His Word to transform your life just as it continues to transform mine.
Whether you are reading through the Bible for the first time or returning to familiar passages with fresh eyes, I pray these reflections encourage you to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ.
I invite you to walk through God’s Word with me, one book at a time.
